NBAIM offers the identification of bacteria and filamentous
fungi. Bacterial identification involves the use of classical
physiological tests, chemotaxonomy, and partial sequence
analysis of the 16S rDNA. Further chemotaxonomic, molecular
biological and physiological tests are also available.
The identification service is performed on a confidential
basis. As soon as the identification is finished the original
culture and all subcultures prepared will be destroyed.
Exception will be made only with your written permission.
Please supply a labelled pure culture on an agar slant
in screw capped tubes. This is the best way to avoid contamination.
Mail in unbreakable containers.
Please
give us all information available for cultivation of your
strain in the application form.
